How we handle your data, under UK GDPR.

For the purposes of the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, we act as the data controller for any personal data submitted to this site. Contact for privacy matters: chris@loudachris.com.au.

When you apply via our qualifier form, we collect: your name, email, phone number (if provided), business name, business location (city or town), industry, staff size, plan preference, and any free-text notes you give us.

When you visit the site, we use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymised analytics data (pages visited, time on page, traffic source). IP addresses are anonymised before being stored. We use Google Search Console for search performance data, which only collects anonymised search query data, not personal data.

We do NOT use third-party advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or social media trackers on this site.

Application data is processed under the lawful basis of contract (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)): we need to process the data you submit to deliver the service you applied for.

Analytics data is processed under the lawful basis of legitimate interests (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) for the purpose of measuring how the site performs and improving it. You can disable analytics at the browser level at any time.

Application data is used to: (a) reply to your application with a written agreement or polite decline; (b) build your website if you proceed; (c) send transactional emails about your build and ongoing care.

We do NOT sell your data, share it with third parties for marketing, or use it for purposes outside our agreement with you.

Because we operate from Australia, your personal data is transferred outside the UK. The UK has not (at the time of writing) issued an adequacy decision in respect of Australia. We rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum (IDTA) appended to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses for these transfers, supplemented by our internal data-handling controls.

Email transactions are processed via Resend (resend.com), a US-based provider, under their standard data processing terms. Website hosting is via Vercel (US), and analytics via Google Analytics (US). Each provider has appropriate transfer safeguards in place.

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you (subject access request)
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request erasure of your data, subject to legal retention requirements
• Object to or restrict processing
• Data portability
• Withdraw consent for any processing based on consent

We use Google Analytics 4 cookies for anonymised website analytics. These are first-party cookies under the GA4 / Google Tag Manager standard. You can disable analytics cookies via your browser settings at any time.

We do NOT use marketing or advertising cookies on this site.

Application data is retained for 6 years (HMRC retention requirement for UK service-business records).

Analytics data: GA4's default retention (currently 14 months for user-level data).
